Rámica is the studio I always dreamed about. It started the first time I sat at a pottery wheel and felt at home. Along the way I realised that working with clay changes something in you. It slows you down. It pulls you into the moment. It connects your hands, your mind, and the material.
Rámica es el taller con el que siempre soñé. Todo empezó la primera vez que me senté frente a un torno y me sentí como en casa.
Con el tiempo entendí que trabajar con arcilla cambia algo en ti. Te ralentiza. Te trae al momento presente. Conecta tus manos, tu mente y el material.
After 8 years of teaching and running studios, I knew exactly what I was missing: small groups, quality craft, real calm, and a real sense of community.

My name is Ravit Zafrani. I've been working with ceramics since 2018, when I first sat at a pottery wheel in a small Tel Aviv studio and didn't want to leave.
I later deepened my practice at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, where I studied wheel throwing, handbuilding, glaze chemistry, and firing techniques. Over the years I worked as a teacher and studio director, building learning environments that were structured, personal, and craft-focused.
I've been living in Madrid since 2023. Rámica is what I came here to build.
Classes at Rámica run in Spanish, English and Hebrew.
Me llamo Ravit Zafrani. Trabajo con cerámica desde 2018, cuando me senté por primera vez frente a un torno en un pequeño estudio de Tel Aviv y no quería marcharme.
Más tarde profundicé mi práctica en la Academia de Arte y Diseño Bezalel, donde estudié torno, modelado a mano, química del esmalte y técnicas de cocción. A lo largo de los años trabajé como profesora y directora de estudios, creando entornos de aprendizaje estructurados, personales y centrados en el oficio.
Vivo en Madrid desde 2023. Rámica es lo que vine aquí a construir.
Las clases en Rámica se imparten en Español, Inglés y Hebreo.
